Eventually yes, but depending on what you use/where you hit, it could power through enough to fuck you up a good amount. Adrenaline does that sort of thing.
“Škac!” Is what you say to chase away cats. May not work for one that big. Although sometimes housecats scare away bears by hissing, so who knows.
