Non German here. What happened?
A server error.
The frontend has been that way for months but as you can see, federation and the API still works (except for media upload) so I can keep using my account with third-party apps.

Sole admin disappeared and instance went dark. Unfortunately some major communities came under control of really sketchy people in the move to feddit.org.
Which communites came under controll of sketch people?
