Let me have my comically unrealistic scenario, please. The alternative is that he’ll keep killing with American weapons until hundreds of thousands more are dead, and all Palestine is a blasted wasteland, and no one will stop him.
The leaks in question were propaganda articles which painted Hamas in a bad light. They were “found on a computer” and corroborated everything Netanuahu had been saying for months. Extremely convenient.
The likelihood of these leaks being real was very low. This person being fired for leaking it even lower. Maybe Israel believes some theater will give it credence?
