Not only will it be expensive (anyone who’s worked for government knows that the cost of this will be massively inflated because the business knows it’s public money), but it will also be susceptible to the businesses own failures (Horizon anyone?). Not to mention that we would be handing over that aspect of key infrastructure to an entity outside of government that has their own agenda.

They are coming up with any and all options to cut government spending, but at no point has taxing the rich ever been mentioned as a way to fund the country.
