Yeah it’s not horrible, but it’s not the iconic presidential blue and white with the polished silver. Also there’s a rumor in the aviation world that he wanted to interior done up like his NY apartment… so there’s that.

Basically like his personal jet, dark blue on the belly, white on top, thick red stripe down the middle form the nose to the tail.
I was going to say, calling them troops instead of officers is a bit to on the nose.
Prrr’de good question.
The hunt for red onion.
lemmy silver for being honest! LoL
If there was lemmy gold, I’d give it to you for that one.
Thank. I add word.
Well there’s your problem, you still think the United States is a civilized country.
*Added missing word.
I’m going on what I heard from Security Now but it is my understanding that apple was the only one pushing for this and the others just voted to approve even though apple was never able to present a convincing argument for why it needed to be shortened.
This is what I get for commenting near the end of my 8 hour shift at the end of my last 10 minute break after only getting a few hours of sleep the day before.
El Salvador… To quote Forest Gump, I’m not a smart man.
True, but the podcasters I heard about this from were posting at least once a week with one three times a week. They were all pissed and talked about how it would potentially hurt their subscribership. And most left because of the switch.
Having only been a patron and not a creator I have no way to back up any of this other than relay the things I heard from their rants… which there were quite a few of after the initial announcement.
Shitpost, but it did get me thinking. After doing the math, my ex’s daughter who I took to the park everyday after school will be graduating high school this month… and another ex’s son will be a senior next year. Yeah I’ve got nothing, time fly’s, blah blah blah.
Alternative headline: Senator Warren requests government funded relocation to Venezuela. El Salvador.
Yep crApple is the one pushing for the shorter SSL certificate length too. Their just adding headaches to everyone’s lives for no good reason.
And today in our “How to kill tourism in your country for one of the biggest worldwide events” class, we examine JD Vance and his idiotic comments about the world cup.
The change from pay per episode to per month was a direct result of crApple’s 30% tax. This hurt Patreon directly because a bunch of creators were pissed about the change and blamed Patreon for not fighting back, so they left. So Patreon has lost revenue over this, how much I have no idea but I know several of the podcasts I listen to have stopped asking you to pay via Patreon and are now asking you to donate via Substack or their private donation page.
I work in international freight for a mega corp, a few years back I was offered a position on days (I’m currently 3rd shift) with the promise of better hours, lower quotas, andquicker chance at promotion.
Day shift - spending all day on the phone getting yelled at by idiots who used a crayon and a napkin to hand write a bill of lading, and now are furious that I won’t break multiple federal and international laws to get their fucking crate of plastic trinkets across the border.
Night shift - processing international shipping documents while listening to podcasts and audiobooks. 1 or 2 drivers call per night with issues that require 1 maybe 2 phone calls to resolve, generally resolved in less than 30 minutes and almost always I only speak with other knowledgeable professionals in the industry.
Now that the promotion is just around the corner, the extra two years I spent on nights was worth my sanity.
Jesus Christ… I’m old enough to have kids that would have said yet… where’s my ibuprofen?
