Geordie is the incredibly competent and intelligent Chief of Engineering on Starfleet’s flagship. He’s also pretty handsome. Geordie is quite the catch, not someone who a woman would need to lower her standards for.
I still want to know how Geordi managed to find an actual human woman who was willing to have sex with him a minimum of two times.

Agreed, and I have no idea why he struck out so much with women. But the Leah Brahms nonsense was out of character for him.
