The birth (or death) of a relative, the release of a new program, game, series, movie, the date you were dreaming about, could be anything

The day I finally move to Belgium.

Unfortunately that day is still pretty far away from today. At least 5 years far away.

I think it suits me the most out of every western European country. Not to mention being the queer person that I am, I’d like to go somewhere where I’d be accepted.

Also, I’m a Moroccan that has so much trouble fitting into Moroccan society. I genuinely don’t feel attached to my country of origin at all, contrary to the “Moroccans” that live in Belgium today, no wonder why everyone in there is sick of them.

I even use a Flemish sounding username online just because it’s funny (the “Resol van Lemmy” bit)

I did a trip there once and was surprised how much I didn’t like that country, the beer is good but it just seemed like a much inferior Netherlands ha

I think it’s time for me to utter my favorite French proverb: “chacun a sa façon de rire” which translates to “everyone has their way of laughing”

Yeah, I know Belgium isn’t for everyone. It will never be for everyone. Nothing is for everyone.
