Gardening - growing chiles, squash, cucumber, tomatoes, eggplant, blackberries, blueberries (not many this year), persimmons, figs, nectarines, Korean pears, and plums.

Related to gardening, I recently purchased some stuff to put together a new raised bed, and I think I want to get into woodworking.

D&D - I’ve been running a D&D game for the last 5 years or so that just concluded a major arc.

Lifting weights - I recently purchased a Titan power rack, so that’s been great for squats, overhead press, and pullups. I’m trying to get back into Olympic style weightlifting, but it’s been slow going.

Travel - we just got back from Santa Fe, NM. It’s beautiful there, and the food is fantastic.

Also a gardener. Currently waiting for my tomatoes to start producing, we have too much rain and too little sun at the moment. Zucchini and cukes have started producing which is nice.

In terms of fruit trees, my cherry is packed this year. I can take the kids there every day for a feast 😊

My citrus collection is also doing rather well.

I always wanted a cherry tree! I bet that’s really cool for the kiddos. What citrus do you have? My meyer lemon has a few fruits on it.

I got a Meyer lemon, a classic lemon, a satsuma and a lime tree :) all in pots because our winters are too cold for most citrus trees.

The cherry tree is amazing. My strawberries are mostly done for the season, but the cherries started ripening at the perfect time. My kids love going to the garden with me, they know they will be getting tasty treats there.

We’re moving soon and I need to come up with a way to replace the fruit trees from the garden so I’m looking at trees in pots which appears to be possible but has some flaws.

Is there anything you got your eye on?

My wife currently won’t let me buy any more trees 😂 (she’s right, we have too many). I also keep my citrus in containers. I’ve got the meyer lemon, a makrut lime, and a calamondin orange. The orange tree hasn’t fruited yet, but I’m hopeful!

Would love a cherry tree if we had room for one. I’ve started grafting different stone fruit varieties onto my plum, though, so maybe I could do that.
