American confidence is at an all time low for everything. We were lied to for decades and now we are all waking up to the cyberpunk, corporatocracy dystopia they built while we were dreaming.
It was a mistake to trust them with our data on the first place. We all got tempted with “free services” from google, Facebook, and all the rest.
To be clear, a lot of us didn’t trust any of them from the get-go; it’s just that it took a while for the rest of the world to understand why we didn’t trust them.
The rest of the world got conned into giving away their data for “free” email, a place to share photos, unlimited storage, and surveys on facebook that analyze your personality.
Not to mention, free 30-day trials for every app and ad-supported video games in your phone.
