In April 2023, the management of Nestlé Russia LLC asked the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to take the necessary measures to restrict public access to the results of operations and financial statements of the company’s subsidiaries, the NACP says on its website, adding that “the purpose of this step was likely to avoid imposing sanctions on Nestle’s subsidiaries”.
Nestle is represented in the Russian Federation through Nestle Russia LLC. The company paid more than USD 25 million in profit taxes as of 2021. Nestle has not published data on its income and taxes paid for 2022, most likely fearing international pressure, the NACP says.
Of course Nestle has to be on the wrong side of a thing. It’s pathological.
Everytime I begin to think that Nestle isn’t that much worse than others (because most big companies are fucked up in one way or the other) they pull shit like this.
I don’t think that continuing to do business in Russia is any worse than their constant baby killing.
They used to dress their sales reps up like nurses and lie to new mothers, saying that breast feeding would harm their babies. Then they would give a month supply of formula. Just enough for the new mother to stop lactating.
They also sponsor the creation of new maternity wards, putting mothers and their newborn infants on the opposite side of the hospital. So when it comes time to feed the infant, they are not taken to their mother, they’re instead given formula for their first meal.
The simple truth is that formula is not as good as breast milk, and is not as safe. Mothers in poor countries often do not have access to clean water, or enough formula. So babies die. Either from shit in the water, or from malnutrition as mothers have stopped lactating and can’t afford the formula.
Nestle knows this, and has been killing babies in the name of profit for decades.
When you see people as just a number on a spreadsheet humanitarian impact is irrelevant. I hate having to figure out which product is them because they are everything.

Just take a look at their past and the criticism about them. They are not just bad. They did and do supervillain level evil shit.

I hated Nestle before, and my opinion hasn’t changed. They’re one of the worst offenders when it comes to child labor and unsafe working conditions
They also staged “nurses” advising women against breast feeding so they would buy baby formula. Formula that was tainted and subsequently killed children.
That alone should have this piece of shit company be dismantled and the people involved directly jailed for a long time
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Their actions also led to numerous (child-)deaths in the past.
Fuck Nestle. What else do they need to do until we finally get rid of that fucking inhumane corporation?
One ukrainian guy I trust said that Netsle makes a lot of bribes. In Ukraine.
The least trustworthy person could tell me Nestlé is giving out a lot of bribes and I would believe them.
It’s just a matter of time till they exploit Russian child slaves too.
They probably have dibs on those thousands of kidnapped Ukrainian children.
