PT is still to this day the scariest game ever made.
I know this is subjective and all, but I’d say MADiSON/VR took that title, which is funnily enough HEAVILY inspired by P.T.
I’m playing its VR port for my first play through. First game I’m legit in 0 rush to play and progress further because it’s so terrifying.
Madison was pretty good, haven’t seen a VR playthrough of it but the regular game was pretty solid. I still don’t think it quite touches PT though, myself.
Ten years since Hideo Kojima handed Konami the sort of viral hit that any sane company would kill for, and what they killed was his career.
I have two PS4’s with P.T. loaded on them, I play it every halloween; what an amazing demo. unfortunately Silent Hills never came to pass, but we did get Death Stranding, which is also incredibly good.

It still sucks so much that silent hills never got made. I never had any interest in the franchise but I still knew about how culturally significant it was and PT seemed like such a masterpiece of a demo that the game would’ve been fantastic.
