By deescaltion, they mean completing their plans of genocide and expanding their borders in the region

The harm these terrorists have committed is inexcusable.

And now they claim they’re open to ideas to de-escalate. It’s rather difficult to believe that.

Israel can easily de-escalate, they just need to stop commiting genocide and launching blind terror attacks on their neighbouring countries.

Israel has zero intention de-escalating the very thing it is actively escalating.

“We started a fight so we could convince the world to bribe us to stop.”

At this point, I’m questioning whether allowing the free-for-all that would be a war with Israel and its neighbors would be less or more destabilizing than allowing Israel’s actions to continue. Israel has never been a fucking saint in the region, but they’re behaving like…

    … well…

… like the US has been covering them from consequences for their failures to act decently in the past 40 years, every goddamn time.

Which means acting like this is increasingly ‘rational’ behavior for the goals of the Israeli government, as long as the assumption that the US will never stop giving them a blank check holds up. Of course, if the US comes to their senses, this behavior suddenly becomes cata-fucking-strophic, not only for Israel, but for the region as a whole.

It’s only been getting worse with every passing year, because we haven’t given them any pushback in almost half a century.
