That’s the conundrum of how I view America and Americans
As individuals, I’ve met lots of good, kind, intelligent and decent Americans … and there are so many examples of great Americans from your distant past and recent history … but I look at the modern politics and media, I’m completely upset and frustrated that we have to live next door to a culture like this.
I love my American neighbour … but I don’t love America.
The individuals you’ve met are the ones that aren’t so small-minded that they never leave America. Some people have never left their own state. There are way too many of them.
I apologize for all of America that Canada has to sit around and watch this shit.
