      An assassination attempt was thwarted. The attempt itself never took place.

      Planning to shoot the president is different than actually shooting at him.

                Haven’t heard this one. The media cycle around was rather weird.

                So deff gave me cover up vibes injust assumed it was because feds botched the job.
