Oh, you sweet summer child.
Oh, you sweet summer child.
Given that both ends pass through a hole in the post, to the back side that we can’t see, I’m going to guess that knots are holding it in place.
FWIW, it’s “per se” not “persey” - it’s Latin for “by itself”
I will never understand people content to live away from a shore. Any shore will do - I used to think oceans were the clear winners until I spent some time on the shores of Lake Ontario! There’s something magical about the border regions between land and water. I’ve spent my entire life never living more than ten miles from an ocean and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
In my experience, when you get an over-the-top response from someone from a sh.itjust.works user, the best response it to just block them.
We have avatars here?
(I’m an old curmudgeon that only browses lemmy via old.lemmy.world for that retro feel)
Same here! Nice to see another tradesman on this site - we’re definitely outnumbered. How often do you find yourself doing minor tasks from other trades - like wiring an outlet or plumbing a sink?
There was a mod that allowed you to (mostly) control door placement, but I’m not sure if it’s even still needed.
You nailed it. The ship-building, especially with the early mods that allowed more part rotation and clipping, REALLY sucked me in. I am excited to check out the enhancements BGS added to that system when I next play.
Genius! I’m totally gonna (try to remember to) steal that and use it the next appropriate time.
I’m sure a rational response is just going to get downvoted to oblivion, but it’s actually a fun game. Not my favorite from Bethesda, but I definitely enjoyed the 1k hours I put into it last year, and I look forward to dipping back in once the DLC drops and there are more mods (not paid creations) available.
I agree with your analysis, and only differ in that I do pay for YouTube Premium because I get a TON of use out of YouTube music - you really can’t beat their library of obscure and live music!
Inertia is a mofo. I did embedded programming for industrial automation almost thirty years ago, building upon and expanding an existing nightmare of C code… and I bet there’s still some of mine running something out there to this day.
Reading comprehension’s not your strongest stat, eh champ?

taken for a ride.
Nice.
Cool.
I don’t have a problem with useless wastes of oxygen publicly outing themselves.
Awesome post. As a former IT person who has worn many other hats over the years, I couldn’t agree with you more.
