I know people have had issues with gaming on Wayland but the personal experience was 0 issues. Running an Amd Ryzen with RTX 2060

3·1 year agoI’m not running a Linux Distro at the moment. Last one I used was EndeavourOS which was pretty nifty.
I used it as a daily driver roughly a year or so ago. It was pretty good and actually worked really well. Personal experience was things only broke by the issue between keyboard and monitor.
If memory serves Steam ran pretty well on it and installing Nvidia was pretty easy too.
I am currently back to running EndeavourOS after PopOS had severe issue running.
Hibernate/sleep out of the box seems to function just fine on my desktop. I’m running a Ryzen 3600, Nvidia RTX 2060, 32GB ddr4 21xx.
It is setup to lock itself after about ten minutes. Then if no activity for an hour will go into sleep/hibernate. Mouse will not wake it but keyboard works fine and I’m back to login within 10s or so.
