I’m a big fan of concealing doll heads behind drywall. The local hobby shop used to sell half-heads (just the face and neck, including eyes), so that was my go-to.
It was also a hard to fix drywall job, so it looks a little janky. It’s almost guaranteed that the next owner rips out that section and finds her.
Right? I know a lot of people who were subject to absolute educational neglect for their K-18. Some lean in, but others have questions.
ETA - and some days I smack myself on the forehead and realize something I should have known at age 8 but it just clicked now.

That kid went for the performance and absolutely nailed it.

They make my friends in Italy SO ANGRY. They insist that it’s some sort of quiche or casserole. And then I point out that I’ve been to Italy and seen the hotdog and french fry pizza with my own eyes. That makes them angrier.
If you’re a home cook, it’s possible to make a very passable Chicago style pizza at home. I’ve done knock-offs of Giordanos’s stuffed spinach and also a standard Lou Malnoti’s.
But I’ll admit that it’s a bit tricky if you don’t have that base knowledge of what you’re going for.
I think this was the resource I used to back-engineer the crusts. The rest is getting the order of ingredients (cheese on bottom to form a fat shield that protects the crust, toppings, potentially more cheese or another razor thin crust, then red sauce.)
I think they were just trying to promote math. I always thought about it later in life as I tried to drunkenly calculate pool angles at the bar.

The most hauntingly memorable was a weird mid-century Donald Duck piece of math propaganda. We watched it in school.

Not Russian, but 35 years ago there was a widely repeated translation joke: The slogan “come alive with the Pepsi generation” was translated into Chinese, but it literally meant “Pepsi revives your dead ancestors.”
That example may be apocryphal, but translations are interesting. It’s something to be mindful of when talking with otherwise fluent ESL people.
I had a very intelligent and fluent coworker who knew the English phrase “to shag” from the Austin Powers movies. She completely misinterpreted the meaning of “a shag carpet,” though. It was so funny (and came up so infrequently) that no one ever corrected her.

I’ve spent some time editing Wikipedia, and one of the funny things is that vandals who want attention for their pranks often don’t get it. Experienced editors just shut their nonsense down quietly and without a fuss. If a mistake appears to have happened through stupidity rather than malice, no one gets banned. Just a boring warning template.
Sounds like this guy didn’t get the attention he wanted on the wiki platform.
That being said…
I absolutely remember the thing about the Scots editor! I heard that he was trying in good faith, quite young, a bit weird, American, and equipped with a Scots-English dictionary. He just didn’t comprehend that grammar is different in other languages and that Groundskeeper Willie was nae actually speekin Scots.
I ended up feeling pretty bad for the kid, but it shows how an enthusiastic person can do an impressive amount of damage. Before the news came out, I would have pointed to the scots wiki as evidence that the language wasn’t really much more than a strong regional dialect. Similar to how a really thick Boston, Philly, or eastern Kentucky accent can sound to someone from a more midwestern US location.

No - I think Mariano’s and PicknSave would be competitors in that region. I travel a bit through the US, and I’m flummoxed. My Kroger discount card works more times than not, no matter where my work takes me and no matter which the local branding is.

I’d only add the two gross things that mine did while they were kittens is that they enjoyed licking my nose and eyes, for reasons known only to cats. That’s a hell of an alarm clock.
This is a really nice idea. Which is refreshing, because my go-to is always something mildly disturbing but not too scary or criminal.
If I were going the wholesome route, I’d add a paper note to the USB or other digital storage, though. If I were to find a LaserDisc from 1990, that would be more or less unreadable without expending some significant effort.
But maybe future folk will have magical devices that can read cassettes, 8-tracks, or whatever.
