My mans knife attacks are the primary deadly assault weapon used basically anywhere else on earth that you cant get guns from vending machines. I know that is hyperbole, but only just.

I mean, for discharging your firearm in an enclosed space with tons of people around? Yeah, I definitely would consider the police at fault. Should the guy with the knife have been persued once it was revealed he was armed? Sure, I can accept that. But what I do not accept is that the police seem to, despite the absurd modern toolkit at their disposal, only have two tools they actually use: their taser and their gun.

Why is it that seemingly anywhere else a knife-wielding assailant can be subdued without blood being drawn, but here it results in several people suffering life threatening injuries and one dead?

I saw Kind Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard recently and it’s got me sucked back into their discography. Their latest album, Flight b741, is classic-rock themed and honestly is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.

I mean, yeah. It’s an industry that has a near-unlimited supply of starry-eyed fresh college grads to throw into the meat grinder, and the executives of these companies absolutely love to take advantage of that. Maybe if enough devs leave the industry they might finally have to start respecting the people who work for them out of necessity.

To be fair to Odyssey, I beat basically every member of the secret cabal through assassination. I specced heavy into crits and there’s effectively no baddie you can’t kill by sneakily killing their friends one by one and then walking up and stabbing them in the neck.

Honestly, I don’t think I found myself using the bow very much at all and had a lot of fun in the more brawl-y areas doing melee and focusing on perfect dodges.

And I don’t think I can remember a time the game crashed on me…
