The satellite dish would press against your hip bone.
Well, on the other hand, medicine learned a lot… /s
It sounds fun at first but imagine the amount of heart attacks and other horrible Mengele level fuckups.
70 year old management member who came up with the idea of using this metric in the first place:
“The system shows you haven’t touched your mouse for half an hour.”
“Yes, I worked out a solution on paper, like back in the old days.”
[confused noises]
You’re so right, it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the correction!
I’ve watched a video about this recently. The problem is, most detectors were based on X-rays in the past decades. Liquid explosives are pretty close to the density (and/or other properties) of water, and you can’t tell for sure whether there’s toothpaste or boom juice in that tube.
However, some airports started using expensive MRI MRI like X-ray* machines that can see stuff in more detail, plus, it lets you to make cross sections from different angles and therefore have a 3D model that you can rotate on your screen (it’s rather cool).
EDIT: I just realised someone else linked this, too. I would leave it here, it’s still educational.
Tiny correction: it’s the Hungarian equivalent of John American.
And another preeeetty common one is Tóth which is just archaic for Slovakian.
Plus another question is whether the punishment should make the family of the victim feel better or not - should it be a factor, at all? If you could literally turn someone into an OK person with the help of a 10 minute (3 day, 30 days) treatment, should we still make their suffering longer just for the family to feel they got their revenge?
White Christmas is one of my favourite episodes.
I think we’re back to the cucumber controversy. Or the mushroom one. Anyone being able to smell ants…?
I have a digital clock with thermometer feature and a dedicated thermometer. I’ve been logging the measurements every half an hour for months. The clock is ~1.5-3 degrees off (or the other way around, who knows). Just be aware they are not always super accurate.
Yeah but I’d rather eat the shells plastic free.
I have no idea how they do it but somehow I only get a lot of scam/spam calls from random numbers when I’m expecting something important, like the plumber/decorator etc. or when looking for jobs. I kind of understand the latter (job sites giving out my contact info to 7 billion scammy 3rd parties), but even when my landlord schedules something for the flat, it’s a coin flip whether I’ll get the next call from the right person.
So yeah, send an email if you want me to actually reply somehow.
“I Could … shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters”
I know. I mentioned WhatsApp because at least it’s big enough for many of them to know or be comfortable with. Even I don’t know the rest of the options too much, but apart from my brothers, not many of my relatives and friends know about Signal or Telegram (or whatever could be any better - note that it isn’t even an English speaking or big country). And with that, we’re back to square one with the niche problem.
EDIT: And I also don’t know if I can make calls and share media both from PC and phone. It’s a plus if I don’t need a separate client on PC. Even more of a plus if I can just use a website without an app on phone.
Insomnium. Beautiful, melodic solos, decent riffs.
