IRL, I agree. No one with an iPhone has even brought this up. I only hear about it from users online
I live in the EU with an iPhone. While I do think Apple should just cut the crap and allow side-loading, the only thing I had personally wanted it for on iPhone was access to emulation and better alternative gaming markets. However, I bought a steam deck last month and lost the need for any of that.
As they should. Apple users worldwide are clearly unhappy with the way Apple is handling this. They’re a bit of a laughing stock right now.
There are many places I’ve yet to visit, but Spain stands out to me specifically for the tapas.

If a family plans a trip that involves an international flight, accommodation and preparation, a €6 is not going to change a thing. This seems more like an easy, state-sponsored money grab than a legitimate effort to better manage over-tourism.
