At the bottom of the page on every Lemmy instance there’s a link that will show you the instances it’s federated and de-federated from. Look for the link labeled ‘Instances’ from a web browser. Here’s the link for lemmy.world that your account is on-
This assumes the department or people involved with fulfilling these requests hasn’t already been compromised or shut down. The request means nothing when it never gets looked at.
Red Bull is going to be a disaster if/when Max ever leaves them.
That’s an interesting analogy lol. Pretty accurate too.
I started to dislike the Sky commentators, mostly David Croft and Karun Chandhok, and switched to the international feed. These days I think Alex Jacques is more of a sensationalist like Crofty and that feed isn’t as enjoyable as it once was. The last couple seasons I’ve mostly watched the McLaren team feeds but using alternative streaming methods comes with some sacrifice.
The one thing I’m missing from my F1TV sub is the driver cam with team radio. After the first lap I’d almost always rather listen to the teams than the commentators. Still can’t decide if the commentary isn’t very good or if my tastes are just too specific.
I only know about it because I happened to see their announcement when they launched the instance. It sounds like it was a reddit movement before they came to Lemmy.
Just an FYI the 50501 group launched a Lemmy instance somewhat recently.
I guess they got ahold of stronger glue.
Only because they wanted to huff it. The panel thing was just a coincidence.
Fuck the police.
ACAB.
Bring the chaos!
If they have the parts they’ll have the cars together. These are the same mechanics that can take a scrap heap from FP3 and have it on track for quali a couple hours later.
Attempts to evade blocking.
Good thing when my main rig goes down I have a, checks notes, 16 RTX 4090 BACKUP MACHINE.
Alpine is a fucking mess and Flavio isn’t going to make it any less of one. Where Flavio goes there must always be chaos.
I agree.
Lemmy is still finding its feet and I think things like this will improve as it continues to grow and mature.
While Lemmy has been around since before the reddit drama, many of the large surges in users have been reddit refugees. As a result a lot of the apps we have are ports of reddit apps that the devs slapped together in a hurry to let users pivot to Lemmy. As time passes we’re seeing a number of new apps pop up with Lemmy specific features, and some of the older apps are still/finally being updated to be more feature rich.
The software Lemmy runs is also changing fairly rapidly so there’s some feature disparity between the webui and the various apps. Part of the normal growth process for a younger social media imo, but frustrating at times.
