And I still haven’t seen any taxis yet that offered Uber’s transparency about trip cost before committing.

And also super expensive. I’ve had times where it was half the price to rent a car for the day than to get one taxi from the airport.
There are manual releases on each door inside, but I’m surprised they don’t have them outside as well.
Reading more about it, I find that many only have manual releases on the front doors until recently and they have a connection point you’re meant to jump with power to unlock and open from the outside. I didn’t think anyone would be okay waiting for a jump to get their baby out, but then these people waited for firemen to break their window, so…
Maybe not skip them, but instead play something else over top of them like another video you like, a music segment, or cat videos.
I started shopping at Aldi almost exclusively and it’s been fantastic.
I’ve never heard that term used before and now that I’ve looked it up, I feel dirty. What idiots really thought it necessary to come up with a derogatory label for “doing your job”?
Some US states have some sort of department of weights and measures. I’ve contacted mine before about such issues and they take them very seriously, sending out an inspection team to test the claim. What they can do to enforce things depends on the state, though.
Plenty do. There just needs to be more organization.
What’s great about this comment is that every side can say it about the other!
What icons? I’m not seeing any such things. What am I missing out on and why?
I imagine those other targets are in much better positions to prevent such attacks right now. Russia is kind of busy elsewhere, so maybe they were seen as a better target with a higher chance of pulling off an attack.
Yeah, the US public is much more aware now than they were in 1967.
I’ve been disturbed to see an increasing number of purple parroting character assassination points about Zelenskiy.
What is meaningful, is what I want to know.
Last I’d heard, the EPA was still calculating these emissions on a per gallon of fuel basis instead of the only one that makes sense, per mile, ignoring the fact a gallon of diesel is capable of carrying a vehicle further, producing fewer emissions overall. They’re also directly responsible for making US cars getting larger and larger thanks to poorly written rules that essentially penalize smaller vehicles.
So either the EPA is evil or just obnoxiously stupid at this point.
Unfortunately, the US Environmental Protection Agency (emphasis on mental) has rules in place regarding emissions per unit length of vehicle which effectively penalize manufacturers who make small vehicles.
That was good general advice, but with Amazon links, anything starting from /ref= can be deleted so it ends with that product/idnumber.
I just figured out how to use that feature and it’s not as clean as manual pruning. You right click on the URL field and choose Copy Without Site Tracking, but it still leaves half the junk.
By that time, all the games you bought now will be public domain.
