Based on the comments here you’d think Copilot+ PC’s are actually a popular thing. Nobody here has a PC that will run Recall. Essentially nobody has a Copilot+ PC at the moment.
Side note: Recall isn’t the boogeyman it’s being made out to be.

Quite surprised these are not on here yet.
I have that model… so weird.
Despite this affecting only FIDO and barely any Yubikeys are being used for that, it’s important to keep in mind that exploits and attacks get worse over time. For now it’s just FIDO and requires complex hardware and practically destroying the key. I wouldn’t be surprised if this exploit is just the beginning.
The data never leaves the computer. Also this only applies to Copilot+ PCs which only the Snapdragon Elite is. No word if it will come to x86
Weird. You spent 3 days defending Firefox for an article that has nothing to do with Firefox… You just wanted to say Firefox for some weird reason…
So what does Firefox have anything to do with it then?
It’s about Chrome. Using Firefox is unrelated to the article.
Huh… So you’re not using the product the article is referring to?
*.example.com
like network.example.com
only covers sub domains and not third level domains like host1.network.example.com
or *.network.example.com
get a wildcard like *.example.org and you’ll be done for everything
This actually only covers the subdomain. It doesn’t extend to *.network.example.com
. I spent last Saturday fighting my browsers until finding that out.
My ssh config has RemoteCommand=/usr/bin/tmux -u new-session -A -s laptop
for Host *
To be pedantic; not quite the same thing. While it does usually include hating your job, it’s more about doing the absolute bare minimum required by your contract, sometimes dragging your feet as long as possible, and only doing the 9-5 – nothing more.
I dunno what you guys are doing that makes your nextcloud die without touching it
Mine runs happily until I decide to update it
I could do it I think. I was pretty good at Duck Hunt back in the day.
boo-hoo. Profits are not guaranteed.
This is a shit-tier post. Why hide the relevant information that’s 2 sentences long?
Relevant information:
Better integration with Steam. By default the Steam Deck uses KDE as the desktop mode. This inherently means it receives updates from Valve in terms of desktop related fixes, and they are actively working with KDE developers to bring updates to KDE (https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/t2184m/is_there_any_cooperation_with_valve_and_kde/)
That’s actually not true. If you look at the original announcement of Recall it was doing all of this stuff all along. The issue is some researchers ripped Recall out of the beta image and deployed it on a system that Recall isn’t designed to run on. They then reported how it had all these problems… Because it was never designed to run on that system. At the time they did their experiment, Copilot+ PC’s were not available to the public.
