That’s true and still quite possibly why this photo is black and white, though regardless, that’s a trend I don’t care for.
I realize I’m probably in a gray area, no pun intended, but I just think it’s used as a tactic to make certain past events feel longer ago in an attempt to make it seem like a different time with problems that no longer affect us.
I guess I was just briefly triggered and realize it doesn’t really apply here.
I really dislike this trend of making not so old photos black and white in an effort to make them seem older. It seems disingenuous and misleads people into thinking it was longer ago than it actually was.
I’ve been enjoying it. The difficulty does seem a bit increased with some enemies but I’m also on NG+1.
Playing on PS5 has been fine but there was some noticeable frame dropping during the Divine Beast Dancing Lion fight.
I’m still only partially through it, but that’s my experience so far.
You could say “I’m thirsty” and though not explicitly asking a question, someone might still offer you a beverage as a solution, for which you would probably be thankful.
Because (Christian) “Faith” is a unique, arguably delusional, cyclical belief system based on feelings. It’s similar to the anti-vaccine mentality of “that’s just your opinion” when it’s not. The biggest difference being that there is no proving or disproving the existence of God.
And Faith is built on this self-referential system of “you gotta have Faith in God because God is real and God is good and strong Faith will help you continue believing in God when you are otherwise challenged, and weak Faith is a sign that you are straying from God and you should strengthen your Faith by believing in God harder because God is real and God is good…”
I used to be more religious and also thought “believe in whatever you want to believe in as long as you don’t be a dick about it,” but that’s really been changing a lot lately.
Christianity has fallen so far and so many self-diagnosed Christians are just the worst type of people that I just couldn’t relate to them anymore and felt the need to distance myself.
There have probably been (speculation because I don’t feel like looking up details right now) more deaths in the name of Christianity and the Christian God than any other religion and that continues to this day.
I contribute modern day deaths from pregnancy complications deprived of needed health care, general lack of other health care for low income families, LGBTQIA2A+ suicides or other deaths, and more to “traditional Christian values”.
Christian Nationalists can go fuck themselves and rot in their own hell they hate so much.
They said dumb ideas.
So malware wasn’t enough, Windows wants to be a ransomware too?
Edit: I can already see it now. “Locked out of your files? For a small fee or our premium subscription, you can restore encrypted files that we lost.”
My go to is Adele.
Old people and bots have to be a large portion.
Sorry if I’m unable to muster up any sympathy.
Also the phrase ‘getting tired of fatigue’ tickles me.
Retarded Fuzz Ball. CHEESE.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, MY ANUS IS BLEEDING!!!
I just started using Konsole and so far it’s ticking all my boxes.
Putin really missed his chance.
That was my guess, from others’ context. Hits almost all of the good points.
How containerized though? Could it be a replacement for a docker server “farm” on a single machine or is it know for apps to simply use locally?
As a noob, can someone briefly explain flatpaks and why they may be preferred?
I primarily just use whatever the distro has(gnome terminal most often), though I use iTerm2 with omz on my work MacBook and really enjoy the customizability with tabs, panes, hotkeys, and especially triggers.
Can anyone recommend a good equivalent on Linux?
I see a lot of others listed here with many features. I’m open to trying a few to find a good alternative, though I don’t want to move all my eggs to a basket only to find out it doesn’t support some feature.
This seems to match another trend that I feel like I’ve been seeing (though no real evidence). I know as we get older everything always seems to get worse, more expensive, shorter, etc. Though I genuinely feel like a lot of drivers are getting worse. I imagine it’s due to an increase of instant gratification and heightened sense of entitlement. “IT’S MY TURN! YOU’RE GOING TOO SLOW! I’M GOING FASTER, I DESERVE TO BE IN FRONT OF YOU! I’M TRYING TO GET TO (some destination that’s probably very similar to everyone else’s destination) AND IT’S URGENT!”
Weirdly my range of responses have also increased. They range from ‘unreasonable anger that someone can feel such entitlement’ to ‘oh well, I half expected that to happen’. I try to lean towards the latter, which actually helps me to be a better driver. I usually always say ‘a safe driver is a predictable driver’, but also supplement that with ‘just assume everyone around you is stupid and will make bad decisions’. Ironically, the bad drivers tend to be the most easily predictable.
This just in: Kids today aren’t yet full of hate.
