As an atheist I believe Jesus existed, I just don’t think he was the son of god or that he was resurrected.
It would have been far easier to start a religion around a real man with actual followers than if he was a figment of someone’s imagination.
Because he doesn’t care about religion, he’s just using them to get what he wants.
Unless your ISP is running a cloud service, it wouldn’t be their problem. AWS, Azure, Google etc would be the ones hit with stronger identification requirements.
Moved to Truenas Scale and decided to setup NFS shares for my Linux server. Spent a lot of time troubleshooting the fstab config and file/share permissions. Switched to CIFS/SAMBA and had it working in about 15 minutes.
Op was so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.
I’ve got LXC’s running on my Proxmox host and been playing or working with Linux for 25 years, but on my desktop I’ve always run Windows. Linux is great right up until it isn’t and then I spend more time than I’d like troubleshooting it. On my desktop I just want things to work and Windows does that. I hate the bloatware, spyware and the nagging to switch to Edge, but everything I run, runs, including games with anti-cheat. I’m sure I could get Linux to a similar state, but it would take a lot more effort.

I live in Australia and understand the Russian political machinations about as well as most first graders, but I could’ve told you his time on earth was only going to be slightly longer than Jeffrey Epstein’s once the Belorussian deal was brokered.
Putin was never going to forgive him for what he did, and the only surprise was that it was a bomb on a plane and not plutonium in his vodka.
I love this shit. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they stick to dogma they become irrelevant, if they water their rules down to “allow” same-sex couples they appear hypocritical, and irrelevant. Either way they lose, which is better all round for society.
Unfortunately it’s the nature of dictators. When they start to feel under pressure because of the economy etc they point over there and say “that country is the reason we are struggling, we should take their stuff, everything will be better if we do.”
Unfortunately this the sort of thing the UN should be dealing with, but they can’t because of bureaucracy / corruption / incompetence, take your pick.
