You can use Aegis and/or Yubico Authenticator instead, that’s what I do.
Full stack developer and privacy advocate. I like to keep the mentality, if you can program one language well, then you can program in any language!
You can use Aegis and/or Yubico Authenticator instead, that’s what I do.
Never give up,
each eye you poke out is one less they can use for data collection.
It’s a slow process and they’ll grow more eyes,
but the less they have on you,
the more private you’ll be.
Suyu is the most popular + actively developed afaik.

They host their code on their own Forgejo instance:
https://git.suyu.dev/explore/repos
Which is more DMCA proof then Github/Gitlab.
I hope ForgeFed will go into production soon,
then we can synchronize the code in between multiple Forgejo instances in a federated fashion.

How do you think news sites earn money?
They do not provide that content for free,
you are their product of which they benefit.
I use NoScript,
which tells me about each JavaScript piece a website has, most if not all of them contain trackers (= data collection).
Each article,
links to a news site,
which is riddled with data trackers,
which collects info about you,
which is sold.
In addition the sites contain advertisements.
Only these 2:

Since they meet at least one of,

Waydroid is made for Wayland.
You can however run it on X-Server,
through a Wayland session window
(e.g. KWin_Wayland, Cage, Weston, …):
https://docs.waydro.id/faq/setting-up-waydroid-only-sessions
I wrote a tool to help improve the user experience on X-Server,
however currently it only supports KDEs Kwin_Wayland:

Oh I see, thank you!
Will definitely play around with that tomorrow :)
High resolution neofetch image? 👀
If that’s not a distro specific thing,
then please teach me how 😄
Well I’m not against No-Log VPNs,
I use them on the daily myself.
However using a VPN of a spy-ware company kinda defeats the purpose.
Why would one trust a VPN of a spy-ware company?
Legacy software still requires maintenance.
Legacy dependencies still require to be used in new projects.
Dual booting multiple times a day is not feasible.
For those reasons none of my co-workers can fully switch to Linux.
I write PHP on the daily and don’t understand the hate it gets :/
At least I can work on Linux at home while my co-workers are stuck on Windows with their C#
