“I don’t understand, if you don’t want crushed orphans, just don’t toss them in the orphan crushing machine”
Well maybe they shouldn’t have an orphan crushing machine in the first place.
Imagine trying to justify thousands of murdered children because some people decided to attack a festival.
An attack, I might add, the government had been informed of and bafflingly did the opposite of adding protection to heavy traffic areas…
Pledges are worth whatever paper they’re printed on.
Government pledges are worth the toilet paper you print it on.
Do it or shut the fuck up.
Use whatever wood bits that are left to fashion a few stakes and do what stakes do to the people who cut them down.

I distinctly remember a few Russian commanding officers this past year and a half that tried to push a group of armed men into doing something they didn’t want.
it did not go well for them.
Well, since nobody is hiding in bunkers waiting for the fallout to dissipate and radiation levels to drop far enough that quick surface travel is survivable, I’m gonna call bullshit.
They may have done a thought exercise like how sometimes you might get super bored and go “what if that old man goes crazy and pulls out a sword” and plan out a fight scene.
There is no “we did a test of our nuclear strike response” because no matter what that plan is, it will not work. No battle plan survives contact with the enemy, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Your nuclear response plans mean fuckall when 80% of the people involved in your test will be dead in under 30 minutes. What is the estimate now? Like 12-20 minutes of warning?

If you stare down literally everyone while walking toward them, and don’t make any move to avoid them, you don’t get to blame them for you running into them.
Similarly, if you smell dog shit everywhere you go today, don’t blame everyone else while your shoe is literally caked in it.

After a brief glance over it, I do believe this is the one I was thinking of!
Man, I need to edit and print this out and leave it in my mother in law’s mailbox and wait for the inevitable social media meltdown about Satanists or something.
Well if they’re anything like my own relatives who are giddy that “it’s finally happening”, have you brought the parallels between their antichrist and a certain ex-president?
I did, and now half the family refuses to acknowledge my existence at family reunions. So it worked out pretty well for me.
I remember a few years ago coming across a website that had a huge list of over 100 things, referencing various Bible verses and then giving their real world parallel. I’ve tried looking for it again, but can never seem to find the right one.

Numbers don’t lie, and if you actually look at casualty numbers over the years, there’s literally no excuse that can be made for them.
If my neighbor’s kid broke my son’s arm, I don’t get to break into their house and go on a stabbing spree through their extended family.
Imagine if some proud boys from the US were attacking Canadian civilians, after Canada has been occasionally striking the US and being quite excessive in its use of force.
Then one day Mexico warns Canada that the proud boys might strike this location this week, so Canada pulls its security and guards, the proud boys attack, Canada loudly yells to everyone in the world “OH NO CANADA IS ATTACKING ME DO YOU GUYS SEE THIS SHIT?”
And then Canada proceeds to bomb the absolute fuck out of EVERY city within 10 miles of the border. And then the refugees that are leaving the cities. And then telling them “hey we promise we won’t bomb you if you go this route” and then bomb that route. And sends troops into refugee camps in order to decide who is suddenly a proud boy…
The world, as usual when it comes to Israel though, completely loses its minds.
It’s like everyone is so afraid of being seen as a nazi, they won’t aim even the tiniest criticism toward a government/military. It strikes me as profoundly racist to conflate every Jewish person with the government of Israel, or that somehow Israel represents all jews. Imagine if I suggested Kenya speaks for all black people…
