I was being a bit tongue in cheek. GAME took over EB in the UK. I don’t think they’re any dedicated gaming shops anymore, just independents.
A middle-aged nerd from the UK. I like films and write about them, sometimes for Film Stories or my blog.
Have a great day.

Then basically there’s no point in this shop existing anymore. They’re basically toy stores now.
I occasionally look in Game but can’t remember the last time I actually bought anything. It would’ve been a pre-owned title anyway.
Is Electronics Boutique still going? 😁
I normally listen to heavy metal, rock maybe nerdcore rap. The other night, I was alternating between the albums of Natalie Imbruglia and Melanie Chisholm. There’s some good stuff in there.
I saw such a device on Instagram. I think it was a Bluetooth connection from the computer diagnostic port to the phone.
The app takes this data and makes the right noise based on engine revs. The app was full of different engine sounds both real and fictional along with silly noises such as farting.
Corrected. 👍
Thank you, I’ll give that a go.
I don’t think they have their open official app but they offer their API free to developers I think.
I’m on Android and I’ve been through several TMDB apps but I don’t really like any of them. I do know that Letterboxd use their API as well but that’s a more social based thing.
Same program, the developer changed the name. 😊
If you like NewPipe but want your videos to skip the annoying bits, there’s a fork called Tubular that incorporates SponsorBlock.
Ooh. Do the YouTuber restoration thing and burn the rust off with a laser. 😁
Jerboa is created by the developers of Lemmy.
Thunder is my main app and it’s updated regularly as well. Jerboa is my second choice because that’s the “official” Lemmy app.
I was a big fan of LiftOff!, unfortunately, the developer had twins back in the summer and understandably, the app hasn’t been updated since.
I have a vivid memory of watching this film at the cinema, I enjoyed it so much. When lieutenant Gordon revealed the Joker playing card, I could’ve happily sat there and watched another two hours. Unfortunately, I had to wait a couple of years for the next film. 😁
I’ll watch this with a degree of caution. I remember really enjoying the first two but they toned down the violence for the third to get a lower rating and I think the film suffered as a result.
Thank you. I thought it involved compiling a new apk file. That was far easier than I expected.
I’ve never done that before? It’s there an easy guide to follow?
Could you possibly link the fork with Glide built in? Thank you.
One of the rare perks of being in the UK. It’s great film.
In the UK Descent ending, which is director Neil Marshall’s original and preferred conclusion, the vision of Juno shocks Sarah back into reality, a reality in which she’s still trapped in the cave and had never managed to escape. Sarah has clearly lost her mind, and sees a vision of her dead daughter in the cave with her, as the Crawlers look to be closing in. It’s a short extension, but it’s the difference between Sarah living and dying.
I’m curious, which version of The Descent did you enjoy as there are two endings.
The 8 bit guy. I loved his retro computing channel and then one day, he acquired a rare IBM computer and promptly destroyed the power supply by sticking a screwdriver into it (if I remember correctly).
For some reason, I googled about this and discovered he’s a gun nut. They’re videos of him going grocery shopping with his rifle on his back which apparently he does this knowing it will annoy people.
Unsubscribed from the channel and never looked back.
