Really? In my experience NixOS is faster than Arch.
edit: this isn’t arguing against him, i’ve heard lots of cases where Arch is indeed faster. For me though, I feel like nixos is faster for my use cases.

I like the new logo, similar to the firefox logo
Why are they using email???
I mean yeah, that’s why it’s “ever recorded”.
Flathub apps will likely be removed quickly if they’re found to be malicious. They’re slightly more unsafe than official repos, but you should be fine. Make sure to carefully check apps with like 4 downloads though.
They may only use it for files and stuff and don’t need a full cloud office suite
I use NixOS. Was a kinda rough start since it was annoying to install apps through a config, but after getting my config fully fledged out I love it. A declarative system is a dream for a dev, I can just copy my config to a new system, run one command, and I have my entire system back! Very stable as well
Back when I was an Arch elitist I thought this too, but I now recommend Ubuntu or Mint if they’re completely new to Linux, otherwise if they have technical literacy I point them to Fedora
Wat? I wasn’t attacking him, I was telling my experience.
