Being from Portugal, this makes me question the whole data. Young people go to college already planning to leave the country, so tough young people may ultimately progress, it is despite Portugal, not because of it.

Can’t be easy. We never know when we actually have to stop. Probably better to just keep going until the end.
The quality of shows they are outputting is quite worrying. They think they can get away without writers continuous input and it shows.
Netflix in particular I’ve gone from following many shows to only a few.

The world is always cyclical. There is always a return to conflict and friction. And given that the globalized world has shifted and mixed so many, I think we’re definitely brewing some nice widespread instability which will, in time, give way to a new form of stability. Whether it’ll better than what we have now is the main question. Seems unlikely, but it always does.
One would think they would be against any type of imperialism and the taking of countries, but apparently it doesn’t upset them to see happen to others.
Since the 30th I’ve stopped going on reddit, but I must admit I still don’t participate here as much because the content I’m seeing it’s not as tailored to my interests as I’d like. Searching for communities tends to show a lot of communities with no participation at all, which is useless.
Also wished there was a video player. Being constantly redirected to youtube is a bit annoying.
But I’m very happy with Memmy for Lemmy. Not as polished as Apollo, but close enough. And Lemmy feels freer from bot/ai/ad content, and that is worth gold.
