Hard disagree. The Bible has verses that condemn psychics and mediums, not that that has ever stopped them from rationalizing other acts, but the Bible is anti-psychic.
When I was a Methodist, my churches were all adamant that psychics and mediums were either con artists or were coordinating with evil spirits or the devil, and it was forbidden. Same with Catholics. Generally in my experience with all American Southern Christians and some northern ones too, the more devout they are, the more against the occult they are.

This. Like ten years ago, when Samsungs had swappable batteries, they were super proud of it. They would advertise it as a feature that Apple doesn’t have.
When I was at a festival, Samsung had an activation where you could tweet at them with your phone model and location and they would send someone with a full battery to trade you for yours. It was an amazing free service that I used so many times, and every time, the jealousy on the faces of all the iPhone people was palpable. Then one year, they quietly removed the swappability from their new phones.
Swappable batteries are such a huge feature that most people don’t even know that they want.

Yeah, no question they profile heavily in Texas. I’ve been pulled over for the same, but they get pretty trigger happy once they learn you have any sort of warrant, so your risk of death goes up exponentially when stopped with warrants. I had a cop come running at my drivers side door with his gun drawn as soon as he ran my plates and saw my warrant for unpaid speeding ticket.
As someone who has lived in Texas with warrants and without, I can confirm that it’s not a minor distinction. Luckily I haven’t had to return to Texas in years, but if I do, I will make sure I don’t have any open warrants before doing so. Texas cops will fuck your life up for unpaid traffic fines like you robbed a bank just because they can.
I get your point, but everyone living in or traveling through Texas do not have open criminal warrants, which is what these Seattle hospital workers will have if they don’t comply, and we shouldn’t downplay the litany of problems that come with arrest warrants.
