All of them has a detailed program and a custom logo, some of them just highlight the core points from the program, some of them has slogans, all of the slogans are just big meaningless words:

This is EP and local government election, parliamentary elections will be in 2026. Orbán is expected to get 40-50% today. On a parliamentary election that could still result in a supermajority, or close to it. Orbán wil be ousted by colesterol, not by election.

One of the writers is not native English speaker, maybe she chose the word? Here where I live we use the word pejoratively for circlejerk gatherings like this one, maybe it’s also common in other parts of Europe.

On the source it says this data is reported by countries, it’s not some central calculation. Maybe they expected data from the grey countries but didn’t get it? There is data from Serbia and Montenegro, and they are not part of the EU, nor candidates.

We don’t really know the actual power mechanics, but Orbán is populist, he just do whatever the best for him. From this current NATO deny, some speculate he wants money from Sweden. Most EU funds are blocked, Russians don’t have money anymore for him, local population don’t like Chinese battery factories they planned, and other Chinese investments are also slowed down because too much was stolen.

Hungary is basically a one man state since 2010, Orbán is the god-emperor, all other people in government just talking heads. Novák was a second line random politician before elected as president, noone understood why she was selected. In Hungary president is elected by the parliament where Orbán has supermajority, he can do whatever he wants. It’s his decision Sweden is not in Nato yet, noone else’s

The current freezing of EU fund things are somewhat working. And he can’t use them to make himself look like a victim. He likes to speak about himself as “We Hungarians”, and this just helps him with that.

This is stupid:

1. Orbán doesn’t care about Hungarian economy.
2. This will just help Orbán, because he can legit say now that the EU hurts Hungarians on purpose. Not him, but all Hungarians. He was telling this for years, without any proof, but now EU just did him a favor, thanks…

Same for Hungary: the national bird is the Turul, a mythological bird. Presumably it originates from the Saker falcon, so it’s not even an eagle.

Immigration is not a solution to this problem, just a short term band aid. What will happen if current immigrants became old? More immigrants? At some point you will run out of new people
