I’m sure they still have plenty of liquid assets to scoop up discounted stocks. Tax cuts will save conglomerates money, which they’ll use for stock buybacks to inflate the worth of their stocks, which had already been picked up by the billionaires. This will reinflate their net worth.
Plus, and I don’t know how or when this would be involved in the calculation of their net worth, but they’re probably shorting stocks with insider info passed around Mar-a-Lago. Just a guess.
They’ll be fine. The rest of us will continue to be screwed even harder. Fuck them billionaires.

With that amount of money she could not stop working now and live comfortably off of her funds for the rest of her life in the US. She is not rich.
This is a response to the rapid escalation of events since the inauguration which only occurred just over two weeks ago. Things are moving fast. The past week has been dizzying, by design.
There will likely be a lot of protests by many organizations that may be organized at the national level or locally until things change for the better, people give up, or people are stopped by the forces we need to protest against. Try to find protests and participate in the ones that you can.
edit: I’m not going to tell you what groups to organize with, but look into groups that organize locally and nationally.
This is presumably part of the problem here in America, and why it took as long as it did to get this many people activated and mobilized. Either way, organizers have been organizing. The movement is growing across this very large country of ours.
