The whole premise was that they’re in danger and need to get to Canada to be safe (the bad guys don’t have passports I guess 🤷), but have to wait just before they cross the border for everyone to show up seemingly for no reason.
This exists, Amtrak even runs one called the Auto Train, but it’s a lot more efficient to just leave the cars behind and put the people straight on the train.

People would find some way to complain no matter what cars were chosen for the comparison, but the fact is cars have been getting bigger on average.
Better road design and just having fewer cars would do a lot more than sensors.

I’ve been using one to write cover letters for job applications. It takes a bit of wrangling to get anything, and then a bit more to get it to actually say things that aren’t total bullshit, but I find it less tedious than writing them myself.
The big difference is the size of the administrative area. Paris is obviously a much larger city, but the mayor only controls about 100km^2 containing 2 million people, whereas in Berlin the equivalent is almost 900km^2 and 3.5 million people. So while Paris can focus heavily on the concerns of the people that actually love in the city and don’t care much for those driving in, Berlin has to cater towards much more suburban interests.
Every car we have should be electric, but we need to have a lot fewer of them.

Are they going to stop making cars with huge front hoods which are hugely dangerous to pedestrians? Or stop marketing their cars as if they’re meant to be driven dangerously?
