100% right (I live in Munich) If you want the Oktoberfest experience without the obnoxious tourists, I recommend visiting the “Frühlingsfest”. It’s basically the same thing in the same place, but in Spring

You are such a silly goose haha.
Have you heard of “machines”? Do you know what a tractor and a plow is? If you would have payed more attention in school you might know that we now only need 1% of the population to feed the other 99% ( 150 years ago we needed 90% of the population to feed every one)
We. Don’t. Need. More. Stuff.
What we have is good enough.
Thanks to “machines” humans don’t need to work as much anymore to have the same standard of living.
If you’re struggling it’s not because your productivity isn’t high enough. It’s because the elites create artificial scarcity. And you’re buying straight into their lies 😂
But if we’re competitive then the only way is up, you then NEED growth.
But that’s just NOT possible.
You CAN’T have infinite growth. That’s not a thing.
So either you can run after the “cool” kids that are chasing something that’s unreachable, or you can come to terms and settle with “good enough” (the later has the benefit of not destroying the planet in the process)
I look forward to a future where the elites stop playing monopoly against each other. Who cares if we’re competitive?
Doku. Hehe.
Everytime someone says they don’t have anything to hide I ask them what the pin of their phone is and to give me their phone. Suddenly that’s something different…
Dieser “no famers no food” Slogan macht mich besonders sauer.
There’s much more to food than just the farmer. There’s a whole supply chain, and every link in that chain has as much power over the foodsupply as the farmer. Farmers are not special!
In the Netherlands the farmers recently blocked highways because politicians dared to put the meat-industry under stricter environmental regulations. The farmers argued that it would risk the foodsupply in the Netherlands… Guess what? 80% of their meat-produce is being shipped to china.
Sure
There’s actually a pretty good reason why they don’t do that. Media attention. Most acts of activism are ignored. Only extreme things make it into the media (sadly). Anything short of blowing up the pipeline won’t get them media attention. How do I know that? “Letzte Generation”, a German activist group did shut down a pipeline, but nobody bothered to report about it.
I share your emotions toward those things, but you’re asking for totalitarian measures. The solution is not to put people who “missbehave” into jail but to educate them better and to create a social environment which promotes compassion.

“More recent studies have developed CNN-based systems that can correctly identify who is behind the sunglasses, scarf, or facemask, with up to almost 99% sensitivity”
That’s not good enough with current facial detection tech…
I hate religion as much as the next guy. But becoming more authoritarian is definitely not the way to go. Instead we need more education.
I hate this. What if I wanna cover my face to evade facial detection? That’s illegal now?
I can’t stand people who apparently were raised on a diet of heavy metals (you)
Hmm. Nö eigentlich nicht. Wahrscheinlich könntest du sie in einigen Videospielen verwenden, Elite Dangerous zb. Hab ich aber nie ausprobiert
