The trumps want to be seen as one of the elites, even though they know everyone secretly hates them by now and see them as white trash. Bezos inviting them is another matter.

Only as a last resort and everything else has been tried.

People don’t understand what’s happening, there are a lot of people willing to stand in front of bulldozers. This is their technique:
