Source on that? Genuinely asking.

Mullvad is proven. Not that proton is not, but there were a few controversies about their operations.
Mullvad is accepting payments with actual private crypto currencies. Mullvad had authorities visit their operations site, demanding data and left empty handed as they did not have anything to offer. The same cannot be said for proton. I personally like that they do not offer free services and that they are advocating for privacy through ads and foss projects like the mullvad browser.
Proton is only publishing on f-droid, their vpn and recently their pass application. They have yet to provide notification services for de-googled devices after years of community demands. They have opt out telemetry.(except the proton pass through f-droid.) while mullvad does not, correct me if I am wrong on this.
Since you asked about the VPN, everything mullvad is running is on ram so nothing is saved. (I think this is only for their owned servers though not all of them.)
That being said, I use the proton suite as there is no other alternative right now and the casual user in me is satisfied. :)
I think there is a three hour window where you can delete for all.
I see, thanks for explaining. :)
Your data is much more valuable than the 13/currency per month. Which btw, if you pay, the do not stop collecting sharing and monetizing on your data.
Which distro did you choose?
I think you are confusing phones, PCs, consoles and music.
Sony phones are by no means worse than stock google phones. They offer very close to stock experience.
*Send from my pixel with Graphene
NFC payments ARE supported by Graphene. Gpay is not, due to google not supporting it. If your bank app, has the option and no reliance to gpay you will be able to pay with your phone.
IIRC the project has a page with the ones that do work.
I think that minimum wage being a livable salary, is less complicated.
This is so informative, thank you!
Thank you for the info.
Benefits and drawbacks?
Any suggestions?
I checked out IVPN but apparently they disabled that feature as well.
Is proton the only well regarded vpn that still supports it?
Do you have the default filters? Try updating them as well. This should not be happening. Also, try adding the unchecked by default, adguard filter.
If you game, definitely Fedora. If its mostly work, it doesn’t really matter…
FYI is going to include opt out telemetry in the near future if the proposal ends up passing. (If its not already decided)
You could also check out Opensuse Tumbleweed, since it’s future proof and requires zero maintenance unlike arch. However, Arch is definitely one the most minimal distros.
I fas as I am aware, Ubuntu ships codecs by default.
Fedora does not ship proprietary software due to license issues.
*This is just what I know, you should fact check both.
It is definitely not, at least for me when I switched to Linux.
I noticed weird issues while watching a video through VLC, posted about it on Reddit and someone suggested that I had not installed the codecs.
Haha the pain of finding out…
Didn’t you notice the decreased quality?
