WOW. This is such a nice job!. I really like the combination of blue and wooden brown. And the plants too. It feels like a high-fantasy book!

Can I be honest? Religion. Anything related to it, somehow will get someone downvote me. Even if I just mention “God” or something. I get that I should “separate the church from the state” or I should be secular here or whatevs, and I respect that. It’s not like every time I mention I force it down to everyone’s throat!
Tbh I wanted to make a post that greet everyone on Lemmy that are doing Ramadhan fasting at first, but now I don’t even feel like doing that. There’s no point of posting it, I guess, if it got downvoted and no one wants to see it.
I guess this means that Lemmy isn’t much different from Reddit…
Congrats on the new logo!

IKR, I’m starting to see more and more of this kind of questions here. I wish mods do something about it
At some point in your life you realize that you can’t worry about things you don’t have control about
Just remember ALL CAPS when you spell the man name

That community is also guilty tbh. Sorry for bringing this up, but I saw the other day about “Children school food debt” or something like that on that community, and I was like, what? How is that uplifting at all?
I’m still okay with a bit of politics discussion, but seeing US politics on timeline everyday?? I am NOT a US citizen and I DO NOT CARE about their politics at all. And the doomerism posting, so so tired of them.
That’s why I tend to follow casual community like !artshare, music related stuff, etc. I also made a community for japanese trains, though it’s my first time running a community so I’m kinda confused how to run the community.
No.
Especially with non-English stuff. Let’s be realistic here

Coffee will make me feel miserable if I drank it at the wrong time
I don’t know why, perhaps something to do with the color scheme, but somehow the screenshot looks like something out of a videogame and I think it’s cool
I actually tried to build Raindrop.io-clone like this one one day, but never got the time to work fully on it… Congrats OP!
I’m a software engineer, for stuff that are related to library/programming languages, I usually try to look at the official documentation first. Some of the best documentation pages IMO are: SQLite, PostgreSQL, and Rust book. MDN is good too, like you said. Looking at the source code helps too, especially the test files. I currently write lots of Go (programming language) code, and IMO their test files are so good, and you can learn how some functions behave or how to use it.
Other than that, I actually starting to learn to draw too, and for that I, so far, use drawabox. I think it’s a good starter for learning to draw–as it gives you the most fundemental stuff when drawing. (technically not online, rather a book, but just before opening this thread I found this resource for learning drawing perspective: https://ia801206.us.archive.org/34/items/PerspectiveMadeEasy/Norling - Perspective Made Easy.pdf)
I also wanted to start playing guitar, but haven’t got the money to buy one, but from what I hear Justin Guitar is a good free online resource. Haven’t used it though
Interestingly only one or two years ago, people seems tp recommend PhotoPrism
VERY late reply, but thank you the words :)
I was on a depression phase 10 months ago when this was posted, but unfortunately I’m still stuck on that phase. I don’t know when I’ll be ready to get back up, but recently I’m starting to see a glimpse of hope–a light at the end of the tunnel.
I just don’t know how I’m gonna fix my big mistake in the past, I really don’t. Fuck.
