I can’t really stand Brundle or Crofty anymore, especially when Jacques, Palmer and DC are so incredibly good. But I have to admit that some of his grid walk moments are absolutely brilliant.

Not a horrible place to be stuck, though. Pop!_OS is pretty great. I run it on my media server and it’s been rock solid. I definitely wouldn’t mind running it on an old laptop.
I find it similar to Scotland in many ways. It’s bloody cold and windy. Always reminds me of that Fairytale of New York song. The lyrics go “the wind blows right through you, it’s no place for the old”.
Wool layers work best. A long wool coat is perfect, if you have one. Puffer jackets are too bulky and sweaty if you take the train or the bus. You definitely need boots, but make sure they’re warm, waterproof and comfortable. You’ll be walking a lot.
