What you describe as a ‘large thoughtful community of shared knowledge’ sounds a lot like a cult to me. You want to isolate yourself and your followers from the rest of the world because you know most people couldnt be kept there otherwise. You want to misrepresent your instance by removing anyone who doesnt agree with your (probably hurtful extremist) views and that just fuels the fire. I think most people arent inherently bad, just driven by their circumstances and worldviews, but if you dont allow opinions that dont match your own, you cant grow as a person and stay stuck in your own thought loops. Please try taking a different approach and maybe try relating a little to their arguments and why they react like this instead of dismissing them instantly.

Ranslite hat diesen Beitrag erstellt, nachdem etliche Leute wegen Äußerung ihrer Meinung bezüglich Fleischkonsum gebannt wurden (angeblich ‘Polemik’). Danach hat er diesen Post erstellt um sich über sie lustig zu machen, nicht weil es ein Problem ist was er hat. Logischerweise wird sich hier wieder darüber aufgeregt, und darüber dass er willkürlich Leute bannt die nicht seine Meinung teilen. Diese werden wieder wegen ‘Polemik’ gebannt. Würde das schon ködern nennen.

Stimmt, wenn jemand der die selben Ansichten hat wie ich rumheult ist es ‘ein Problem ansprechen’, aber wenn andere es tun ist es Polemik. Sehe ich genau so. Kann man nicht einfach alle bannen die nicht so denken wie ich?

Wir fahren immer zwischen den Jahren nach Österreich zum Skifahren. Haben da eine größere Gruppe an Freunden, die sich schon seit Jahrzehnten trifft. Eigentlich steht die Gemeinschaft im Vordergrund, aber Skifahren gehört halt auch dazu. Ich fahr gern Ski, aber die Lift Preise sind echt heftig. ‘Schnöselig’ würde ich jetzt aber nicht sagen, wenn ich stattdessen einen Flug nach Asien oder Afrika buche bin ich da schon deutlich drüber, es ist einfach eine andere Art von Urlaub.

Nothing to do with bragging or impressing people. Most people have their own tastes, just because for some reason you have no understanding of the concept of beauty doesnt make the rest of the world weird.

Noone said you cant have an ugly efficient car if you want. But theres absolutely no reason to shit on people for wanting their own possessions to be nice. Sure its better to not buy a car at all, but if you need one you should be allowed to get one that you like.
