How would the EU gain more autonomy? Increased military spending? Just walk away from old alliances and hope that makes you stronger?
EU seems to have more control over American tech companies than the US govt has.
Instead of agreeing to nebulous things like “limit to 2 degrees”. International politics should have focused on specifics like “hey, at least don’t make any new coal plants”.
The US needs to butt out and stop supporting them entirely.

Cheering for Oracle is certainly an unexpected turn of events, but here we are. They are absolutely right that RedHatIBM’s motivations are simply to kill competition and obtain vendor lock-in by ending RHEL compatibility. RedHat is truly dead.

If RedHat is serious, they can put watermarking/stenography on the code they give you. Might not be proof in court, but enough to figure you are the leaker.
That is just denying redistribution with extra steps.
They have upgraded the satellites over the years. They probably are disposing of the old ones. Solar flares do increase drag, but it doesn’t suddenly deorbit satellites that have thrusters.
