I can’t remember if I have Wayland on my Debian installation with XFCE. I installed it several months ago, so I will check.

I was surprised, in a bad way, at how difficult it is to get any VNC running. I tried Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and base Debian, but couldn’t get any VNC working. The closest I got was with Debian, but it gave me a different desktop than what was coming out the video port to my monitor. I’d be interested in hearing if anyone has had better luck with anything.
It’s not a big deal - I was just wondering. I will keep watching your repo. Thanks.
Thanks! Would you happen to know how to install with pipx? I don’t fully understand Python venv stuff, but I followed instructions on how to install yt-dlp using pipx. I’m not clear on whether I could do that with your app.
I didn’t see anything like this image in the pytube-fix repo. Do you have a repo of the web interface somewhere? That looks really handy.
Agreed. I can’t imagine how he came upon that method of making a capital “A”.
I can. I just was more interested in learning about a new package manager, rather than the main topic of the post.
It talks about installing with nix package manager. I’ve never heard of this one. Can anyone comment on how well nix would work foru Ubuntu installations? It sounds like it installs some daemon, which I haven’t heard before from a package manager.
I don’t know who this spokesperson is, but it’s strange that he didn’t know about the pharmacy thing. It was well-publicized before the trial, along with a video. This seems more relevant than these text messages.
