When I was 18 I got pulled over for failing to stop at a four way stop.
The only thing is, the stop sign was right after you go over a hill to cross some railroad tracks. I had seen the police car behind me but kind of far, and I had a feeling he was going to try this so when I stopped, I stayed sat there for like two minutes (no other cars).
He took his sweet time to get to me, but by the time he did I was finally making my turn through the intersection. I explained that I’d stopped for 30 seconds (didn’t want it to sound too extreme) but that asshole still ticketed me.
