    I gave up on picard after one and a half seasons

    I know I can be picky, but I fail to see how it deserved awards for anything

      Well you didn’t watch season 3, which is the season that actually won these awards.

        I watched all 3 seasons. Season 3 should be recognized for its special effects and acting - the new characters and classic ones both perform well. Too bad it was in service to such an unneeded story.
