Why Julius Caesar's Year of Confusion was the longest year in history

To tame a hopelessly disorganised Roman calendar, Julius Caesar added months, took them away, and invented the leap year.

I edited the title because my grammar is terrible

Our calendar still kind of sucks.

It’s off by 6hrs/yr.

The Persian calendar is off by 1sec/yr.

But it’s year zero is about the Prophet Muhammad…

So only Iran and Afghanistan use it.
