Full disclosure, I enjoyed Friends a lot back in the day, but I’m rewatching it now, and his friends are pretty terrible towards him, especially for things that are actually quite impressive, like being a doctor of paleontology in his mid 20’s.
I blame shitty sitcoms. If you really look at them, most people are terrible to each other.
