P.S. this is one part of why I don’t respect human society. The fact that this is allowed is just sad. We live in a world where it’s perfectly acceptable to have hungry children at the same time as rich people purposefully making the world worse, presumably because they enjoy seeing poor children be hungry (“it’s their fault for not having better parents”).
“You see,” he said, “if we work together to make the world worse, it will make us happier.”
The crowd started clapping.
“Your wife won’t like it,” he shouted, “your children won’t like it, the future won’t like it.”
The crowd started hollering.
“We like it! Us! We’re assholes, and we want the world to be one giant toilet that we can shit in!”
The crowd went wild, collectively losing their minds.
