A doctor has to numb themselves somewhat but like you mention there are those that are too numb. You need a doctor that is not so affected by the moment, but you also don’t want a sociopath…

Naw, I have worked in EMS. Yeah, there are coping mechanisms that people might find distasteful. Dark humor and all that.
