US Troops had this same dilemma during WWII. Germans housed in hospitals and churches had to be removed. They were and sometimes at high cost.
Obviously hitting some weapons cache from the secondaries on the clips I’ve seen.
Seems to me to be a less complex attack than you need when you have half a million troops staged.
